Letter from the Comptroller

The Comptroller is responsible for management, reporting, and analysis of the university's financial resources and operations, which include accounting, grants and contracts, fixed assets, and financial reporting, and procurement and travel services.

Our mission is to provide effective and professional service to customers and other stakeholders of the university by developing practical procedures and processes, maintaining efficient systems and sound financial records, and seeking continuous improvements. The Comptroller facilitates strong internal controls and good stewardship of university assets, provides accurate reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making, and protects the university by ensuring compliance with regulatory, reporting, audit, and other external requirements.
